Grand Lake Shoreline Cleanup Set for May 8

Langley - The Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) and Grand Lake Sail & Power Squadron (GLSPS), with participation from the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and Monkey Island Association, are once again joining forces to help "Lend a Hand to Lady Grand." That effort is the 2010 Grand Lake Shoreline Cleanup, planned for Saturday, May 8.

The cleanup is an opportunity for lake area residents to unite in their efforts to keep Grand's shoreline beautiful and free of trash and debris.

Dumpsters will be conveniently located at five different sites around the lake:

Get-R-Done Marine & Auto- Cleora
Bernice State Park- Bernice
Grove Springs Park- Grove
Patricia Island Golf Course & Housing Development- Grove
Church of Christ- Ketchum
 Dumpsters will be available from 9 AM to 2 PM on May 8 (no household garbage or commercial dumping of dock foam is allowed).
