A few weeks ago I received an e-mail that said there was a question on Jeopardy asking which state the Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees was in. No one knew the answer. We want to change that.
Next month we will be taking out an ad in Entrepreneur Magazine, a National Publication that focuses on business leaders across the country. The magazine has over 2.7 million readers and 40% of their subscribers are millionaires. The readers of Entrepreneur Magazine are top decision makers and we are going to target their desire to “Getaway” from their business and we invite them to visit the Grand Lake Area.
We were given a tremendous opportunity to run the ad and with the help of some local co-sponsors, we will have a full color ad in the October edition. Our hope is to draw attention to the luxurious lifestyle the Grand Lake area has to offer and we showcased local services like real estate, yacht clubs, championship golf, romantic retreats and airport availability.
As with all our advertising now, we are stressing our new website and encouraging them to visit our site to see what we have to offer. If you are not a member of the Grand Lake Association, membership is very easy and we can have your business on our website in a matter of minutes. We want to show off all the great things about our area.
This is the beginning of our effort to not only reach those in the surrounding states, but to continue making people aware of what a jewel Oklahoma has in Grand Lake and the surrounding communities.
