Tickets Still Available for Humane Society's Mardi Paws
Benefit on March 20th.
The Humane Society of Grove needs your support of this
year's Mardi Paws Benefit--buy a ticket and attend the
Benefit on Saturday, March 20, at Big Shots on Monkey Island. It's
a benefit to help the animals, and they are counting on your support.
Doors will open at 6:30 pm to begin bidding on silent auction
items. The buffet catered by The Shebang Restaurant starts at
7:30 pm followed by a live auction at 9 pm.
This is an important fund raiser for the Humane Society
as they continually work to raise much needed funds. The success
of this year's event is dependent upon the number of people who attend
and the interest in the auction items.
Many fabulous, unique, and fun items
have been generously donated for this year's Mardi Paws silent and live
auctions. There will be something for everyone, and following are
just a few of the exciting auction items that will be available:
For the explorer, the "Great Loop Adventure" for two
for seven nights aboard the Sootsus at Sea as it cruises down
designated rivers on her way back to the Gulf of Mexico;
For the most discriminating antique collector, an unique
Victorian antique tiger oak claw-footed library table and carved back
swivel chair, circa 19th Century;
For the romantic, a one-week dream vacation at a resort of your
choice;
For the water enthusiast, a Grand Lake cruise for 20 aboard a
65-foot Carver yacht, or a 3-hour wine and cheese cruise for six aboard
a Wellcraft Martinique, or a sunset sail for two aboard a 22' Catalina
sailboat;
And, for those that want to take to the air, an hour airplane
tour over Grand Lake.
Buy your Mardi Paws ticket today and help support the Humane
Society.
Tickets are $35 per person and should be
purchased in advance by calling Carol Rice at 918-786-5750 or Lori
Follis at 918-786-4699, or drop by the Humane Society shelter or The
Shebang Restaurant on Monkey Island (918.257.5569).
And, anyone can participate in the live auction scheduled to begin at 9
