Grand Lake Chamber Article for 05-20-10 Chronicle

Last week we had once again tried to schedule an outdoor event, but the rain kept our group of 12 teams off the Softball field Friday night. We will pick another date and let everyone know so you can come and play and watch our locals have some fun.

Chamber Luncheon Meting

On May 27th we will have our next membership luncheon at Cherokee Yacht Club. It starts at 11:30 a.m. We need all of you to make reservations for this event so we will give the Cherokee Staff the opportunity to service us properly. Call 918-782-3214 or let Sheona know at smoore@grandlakechamber.org. The program is going to be presented by Sean Griffin who you know by his Chronicle column What Box? He will get us charged up for this summer season. People are still talking about his presentation last year. Be There!

The run will go from Langley and end in Ketchum and when all the runners and their cheering fans get to Ketchum the Chamber will be having a Fish Fry put on by the Catfish Cooking team lead by the current Chamber President Mayor Joe Johnson. The cost for runners will be $5.00 and $7.00 for the rest of you folks. This event will help the Chamber continue with our work to promote the Grand Lake area and make it the best place to live and work.

We are about to go to print of our current members with our directory of businesses.  So now is the time to get on the list and make sure your information about your business is here in the Chamber office.  With the increase in traffic here at our new offices we are going through bunches of material, DON’T BE LEFT OUT!!

HAVE A GREAT GRAND DAY!!!
