So many things to tell you! Our dear friends Kay and
Loren Zook are calling it quits at American Folk Art. Labor Day
Weekend is their last hurrah! Incredible deals....and that
includes the Monkey Island t-shirts and sweatshirts that benefit this
association. Check it out!
Of course you know it is a a grand golf weekend. We
have two great charity tournaments. The Finley Memorial at the
Peninsula here on the island and The .... a Patricia Island.

Mary Moore Golf Tournament Saturday, August 29,
2009 at PATRICIA ISLAND ESTATES & GOLF CLUB 1:30 Shotgun start..
The 3rd annual Mary Moore Charity Shotgun Golf Tournament. Call and
reserve your group's spot for Jack's fund raising tournament.

Mary Moore Charity Golf supports
the Special Olympics @ Patricial Island Golf Club.
We sent "The Jimmy Fund" $4,500 last year and anticipate
doing even better this year.
Carl Erskine has sent us some autographed baseballs, photographs and
books including a baseball signed by 13 Dodgers. We plan on
using these items as prizes and Silent Auction items.
Registration starts at 11:00 AM at Patricia Island. Lunch 12:00 til
1:00 and shotgun start at 1:30. There a lots of fun events scheduled.
Hope you can round up a team, or we can put you on the potential
winning team.

I personally never
miss this event. All kinds of suckers out to play and way too
much fun (yes with Papa Dukes fine lonnnngggg homemade noodles) but
then again....if you've attended you know. Where else do people get
excited about limp noodles! (You may be due to check
it out for yourself) Come out and support the Kritters (Humane
Society) and the Kids (Christmas Toy and Clothing fund) and pick this
year's winner.

your neighbors.
Refreshments will be served
and it will indeed be a fun night.
